

Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Marketing, the Sales Consultant must meet/exceed sales target objectives by performing core business-to-business sales and after sales related activities including order fulfillment and technical assistance. Develop incremental sales within the current customer base by educating them about the advantages of ACT Products. Ensure total customer satisfaction and retention through superior service and technical product support. Process warranty, exchange and returns efficiently and effectively. Demands superior relationship-building skills coupled with excellent communication skills and strong desire to close business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell complex technical products to a defined base of existing and new clients
- Establish and build relationships and rapport
- Meet/exceed sales objectives on a consistent basis
- Prepare, process, review and monitor sales orders and processes to ensure timely product delivery
- Process special order requests.
- Resolve technical problems and warranty related issues
- Provide customers with sales and technical support
- Participate at ACT sales, jobber and trade events
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years experience selling - familiarity with automotive and aftermarket parts a plus
- B2B experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong detail-orientation
- Professional etiquette, attitude and integrity
- Exemplary technical skills including experience with CRM
- Excellent computer skills, including Internet, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Detail oriented, with organizational and time management skills
- Creative problem solving abilities
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
