ACT Releases SFI-Approved Clutch Kits and Flywheel for 2005-2026 Subaru WRX

LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA, June 16, 2026 — Due to strong customer demand, Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has
expanded its Subaru WRX lineup with new SB12 Prolite Flywheel Clutch Kits for the 2005–2026 Subaru WRX. Based on
ACT’s proven SB11 clutch kit family, the new SB12 kits offer the same trusted clutch combinations while adding an ACT
Prolite Flywheel for enthusiasts seeking quicker engine response, improved acceleration, and reduced rotational inertia.
The SB12 kits feature ACT’s proven 240mm clutch design, delivering increased heat capacity, excellent drivability, and
enhanced durability for both street and track applications. Available in multiple Street and Race configurations, the SB12
lineup provides a complete clutch-and-flywheel package engineered to support increased power while maintaining the
performance, reliability, and drivability ACT customers have come to expect.

• Ideal for street: Performance organic disc with premium friction materials for smooth engagement, excellent drivability, and torque capacity up to 532 FT-LB at the crank. Perfectly suited for daily-driven vehicles.
• Destined to Win: Cerametallic Xtreme Race disc available in 4-pad or 6-pad, sprung- or rigid-hub configurations for quick shifting and maximum durability. Recommended for track use and rated to hold up to 681 FT-LB at the crank. Meets SFI Spec 1.1.
• Proven Design: 240mm clutch design delivers increased heat capacity and durability.
  
• Upgrade: The OE 230mm clutch and flywheel to a higher-torque capacity 240mm system.
  
• Features:  ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase
  clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms undergo a proprietary
  four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance.
